What to Wear= All campers must wear close toed shoes and long pants (leggings or jeans). Seasoned Riders must wear riding pants and paddock or tall boots.
What to Bring = All campers will need to bring a packed lunch and a couple of dollars for the treat store. Please pack a bathing suit, flip flops and a towel for afternoon water play. Please apply sunscreen once before coming to the farm. We will assist campers with reapplying sunscreen after lunch.
Rain or Shine = We still have camp on rainy days and we have a large basement in case of inclement weather. We usually switch around art projects, games and other activities until the rain subsides. There are still many animals that need caring for and things to do on the farm rain or shine!
Helmets are provided. However, if you have one of your own please bring it.
I have a conviction that a few weeks spent in a well organized summer camp may be of more value educationally than a whole year of formal school work.

THREE CROWNS FARM CAMPS
We offer 3 different styles of camps at Three Crowns Farm.
Our TraditionalHorse Camp 9a.m.-3p.m.(Late pick up/Extended Day offered till 4p.m.) offers a complete camp experience with the added benefit of horseback riding. Each day will be filled with two+ hours of riding, lessons on grooming and horse sense, fun games, athletic activities, time to play and care for other farm animals, water activities, arts and crafts and so much more! For Boys and Girls Ages 5-14. This camp is for both beginners (new to riding) or seasoned campers that have ridden a horse before, taken lessons, or attended one of our past camps. Campers are divided into groups based on their age and level of riding ability. Our knowledgable instructors will assist and teach beginners with complete hands-on, side-by-side instruction. Seasoned Riders will be taught additional riding techniques to improve their riding level and ability and knowledge of horses. In this camp students will enjoy riding, learning lots of terminology, learning horse parts, proper horse care, play a lot of games, help care for other farm animals, and enjoy some crafts that are usually messy and wonderful! This camp runs from 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday. Older students may join the younger students in the afternoon for games and crafts.
Our (New!) PonyTales Camp 9a.m.-noon (Extended Day offered noon-3p.m.)is for the little one's ages 4-6. Experience the best summer of a lifetime with this fantastically fun camp. This camp offers a fun filled day for boys and girls of grooming and riding ponies with "hands-on, side-by-side" instruction from our Three Crowns Farm Trainers/Instructors. After pony time, story time begins with a short PONYTALE story about horses or farm life read from some wonderful books we have chosen for this summer! Campers will enjoy a messy and fun art project and will lunch as a group around 11:30. This camp runs from 9am.-Noon for 3 days. For young ones that wish to stay longer and play afternoon games, participate in water activities and join our traditional campers, we offer an "Extended Day" opportunity on our registration form from 12p.m.-3p.m. Space is limited for extended day and must be clearly marked at time of registration. PONYTALES campers will need to bring a lunch and water bottle each day. If staying for Extended Day they will need a bathing suit and towel for water games and slip n slide.
Our Jump4Joy Bootcamp- 9a.m.-3p.m.M-TH are for riders age 10+ that have been taking lessons and are already jumping cross rails. These campers work on perfecting riding skills, and have lessons on proper horse care, terminology, barn chores, and more. These camps are for the camper that chooses to increase their current riding ability and horse knowledge. Campers with little jump experience will NOT be jumping! If the trainers feel that the camper needs more work on the basics then the camper will work on basic equitation instead. There are fewer art projects per week as most of this camp is spent on perfecting riding skills and horse knowledge. However, fun activities and games will be chosen daily and campers may join the other Horse Camp campers for afternoon activities.
Boot Camp and Show Camp campers will learn how to prepare your horse for a show and more.
